Welcome to Kumaly Bakes

Hello! I'm Kumaly, the creator behind Kumaly Bakes.

Baking bread and making sweets are my favorite hobbies, and on YouTube I share little moments from my kitchen — simple, heartfelt bakes made for my family.

This blog includes extra tips and detailed instructions that don’t always fit into the videos.

Whether you came here searching for a recipe, or just got curious after watching a video — I hope you’ll find something helpful or inspiring.

About the Recipes on This Blog

I bake bread every weekend using a KitchenAid mixer, mainly for my family’s breakfast.

Recently, I’ve been doing a lot of cake testing in hopes of sharing dessert videos — but after a few too many test batches, my family started gaining a little weight (oops!)

So now, I plan to share sweets at a slower, more thoughtful pace.

Some days I bake with precision, and other days I just try something with what’s in the fridge.

So the recipes here are less about perfection — and more about “what I really bake at home.”

About My Bread-Making

I adjust the water temperature depending on the season, and pay close attention to fermentation time and methods.

I try to observe the dough carefully and make gentle adjustments as I go, working with it in a way that feels intuitive and responsive.

The dough feels a little different each time — that’s part of what makes bread so interesting.

I hope that sharing how I approach these small adjustments might help or encourage someone else baking at home.

For International Readers

I'm working on adding English versions of each recipe,

so everyone can enjoy them no matter where they’re from.

I also try to explain ingredients and terms as clearly as possible, so it’s easier for readers from different regions to follow along.

About Me (Kumaly)

I create all the recipes, photos, videos, and blog posts on my own — during spare moments while raising my kids.

Since I’m a little shy, I use a bear character icon instead of showing my face.

Through bread and sweets, I hope to share small, warm moments —

and create a cozy little corner of the internet for you to enjoy.
